Russia and Belarus Aim for Deals Worth 100 Billion Rubles
The Russian Export Center (REC) has revealed ambitious plans for Russia and Belarus in 2024. According to preliminary estimates, the volume of planned deals between companies of the two countries in 2024 is expected to reach nearly 100 billion rubles.
Viktor Doronkevich, the head of the REC’s representative office in Belarus, highlighted that the total volume of export supported by the REC group to Belarus exceeded $9 billion from 2015 to 2022. In 2022 alone, export support amounted to $1.65 billion.
“We help improve the economy for Belarusian consumers of Russian products by providing support measures – equally exporting to Russian and Belarusian enterprises that form cooperative chains,” noted Viktor Doronkevich.
