A new initiative jointly developed by the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) and the Ministry of Digital Development will soon provide citizens with access to information about bomb shelters via the state services portal, Gosuslugi. The system is already operational in the Belgorod region and is expected to be rolled out across other parts of the country in the near future. In addition to shelter locations, the platform will also offer details on designated evacuation points.

Meanwhile, Moscow residents will begin receiving alerts about drone attacks while using public transport. A specially produced video, approved by EMERCOM chief Alexander Kurenkov, will be shown on screens installed in city buses and trams.

The measures reflect a growing emphasis on civil preparedness amid heightened security concerns.
