Unusually heavy rain is expected to hit Moscow on Monday evening. Between 3 pm and 9 pm, central districts could receive up to 36 mm of precipitation.
The week will remain meteorologically unstable. Dense fog with visibility under one kilometre is possible overnight and early Monday morning. Temperatures will drop to 14–17°C. Rainfall is forecast to continue until mid-Tuesday, potentially adding another 44 mm.
In total, from 3 pm on 4 August to 3 pm on 5 August, Moscow may see around 80 mm of rain—equivalent to the average monthly rainfall for August, which is 79 mm.
