Russia has kicked off its annual Pink October campaign, aimed at raising awareness about breast cancer prevention and early diagnosis. The initiative, titled “Pink October: A True Sign”, is led by the charitable foundation Dal’she and brings together partners, media outlets, and medical organisations throughout the month.
The campaign offers nationwide events to support women affected by breast cancer and to inform women of all ages about breast health. The website розовыйоктябрь.рф features key information on prevention and early detection, along with a full calendar of events — including free consultations with oncologists, both online and in person.
From 6 to 12 October, Breast Health Week will take place across Russia. Mobile diagnostic centres will be set up in major shopping malls in Moscow, Kazan, St Petersburg, and Volgograd, offering free consultations with breast cancer specialists to anyone seeking advice or screening.
