Next year’s recovery plan is being prepared
The process of developing plans for Mariupol’s reconstruction in 2024 has began. This was reported by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin in his official telegram-channel, summing up the results of the work trip to the DPR.
The Deputy Prime Minister pointed out that the plan of the city reconstruction is progressing well. All boiler houses are launched, heat is being supplied to 90% of the city’s homes. A great deal of work is being done to restore the individual housing construction, but it is necessary to accelerate even more. Mariupol has already restored 500 thousand square meters of house facades on its central streets.
The plan for next year is to concentrate on improving streets and public spaces. The descent from Primorsky park to the waterfront have been completed along with new observation areas.
It was previously reported that the entire reconstruction of Mariupol will take three years. Currently, 16 regions of the Russian Federation are participating in this process, involving approximately 25,000 workers.
