If you’ve long dreamed of embarking on a romantic journey, experts from the Tutu portal recommend heading to Samara, Pyatigorsk, or Kogalym. However, these cities are not the only ones in Russia where you can relax with your significant other.

Some popular spots for lovers are located near Moscow. For example, in the Tula region, travelers can taste the famous gingerbread cookies, while in Yasna Polyana, they can try Ankovsky pie, which was greatly loved by the writer Leo Tolstoy.

With warmer weather outside, it’s time to head into nature. Over the Curonian Spit in the Kaliningrad region, a large number of birds can be observed, and lovers can visit the Fringilla Biostation at the Zoological Institute. Also, in the Primorsky Territory, rhododendrons bloom in spring, also known as the Primorsky Sakura. It can be seen in the Botanical Garden of Vladivostok.

Experienced travelers can kayak down the Yenisei River, visit the “Krasnoyarskie Stolby” National Park, or explore the Torgashinsky Ridge in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. In Kogalym, you can embark on a real safari diving with stingrays. For new experiences, head to the Aquatica Aquarium.

Experts also recommend going on a whale tour in the Murmansk region. In addition to whales, there is a chance to encounter dolphins, orcas, and sperm whales.

For a more tranquil retreat, head to the vineyards in the Krasnodar Territory. You can also visit natural hot springs located on the slope of Mount Mashuk in the Stavropol Territory.

Equally romantic, according to experts, is the embankment of Samara, where lovers can watch beautiful sunsets.

In Saratov, on the Kosmonavtov Embankment, there is a monument for lovers. It is another great place to embark on a journey with your significant other.
