The Russian Government has allocated extra funds for leasing agricultural machinery.
The Russian Government has allocated additional resources for servicing preferential leasing agreements for agricultural machinery. The company “Rosagroleasing” will receive 500 million rubles from the reserve fund. The additional funding will help fulfill obligations to subsidize no fewer than 12,000 leasing agreements under preferential terms by 2023.
The agricultural machinery leasing program, launched in 2019, has become one of the most popular tools for the technical modernization of the agricultural sector. In August 2023, the government expanded the program’s parameters, including vehicles, railway wagons, refrigerated containers for transporting agricultural products, trailers, and semitrailers.
