The Russian Export Center (REC) reports that Chinese consumers have purchased Russian products worth 63 million rubles in the first days of the “Made in Russia” festival-market held in Shenyang. Out of this amount, 19 million rubles account for goods purchased at retail in shopping centers in Shenyang and Dalian, while 44.2 million rubles come from purchases made through the National Stores Made in Russia on China’s largest marketplaces.
REC’s statement also attributes the record-breaking figures to the promotion facilitated by well-known bloggers in China.
Among the exhibitors at the festival are companies from new regions. The confectionery factory “Lacond” from Luhansk and the company “Donbass Confectioner” from Donetsk have brought their chocolates, cookies, and other sweets to the exhibition.
