Russia Has Enough for Friendly Countries Too
In 2023, Russia increased the export of agricultural products by 12%, as reported by Andrey Kucherov, Deputy Head of the Agroexport Center at the Ministry of Agriculture.
Last year, the export volume reached $41.6 billion, and in 2023, it reached $45 billion. Russia ranked 17th in the global ranking of agricultural exporters in 2022.
Kucherov noted that Russian products were supplied to 150 countries worldwide, with a significant portion of shipments made to friendly nations. Key markets included China, India, Egypt, Pakistan, Indonesia, and Mexico. In 2023, 17 countries opened their markets to Russian products. Future plans involve infrastructure development, creating brands for export, and intensifying retail operations in other countries, such as China.
