According to the Ministry of Health of Russia, children born today have a good chance of living a long life. They could live up to 120-150 years.
However, this will be possible if parents manage to preserve their child’s health during the first three years of life. According to Dr. Leyla Namazova-Baranova, the Chief External Pediatric Specialist in Preventive Medicine at the Ministry of Health of Russia, the potential for a long life is established from conception to the age of three.
Vaccinating children against infections is especially important. Refusing vaccinations could result in a child contracting an infectious disease, which could affect their health for the rest of their lives. Therefore, it is crucial to follow all the recommendations of doctors for young children.
Earlier, Health Minister Mikhail Murashko stated that there are plans to expand the schedule of preventive vaccinations in the near future. Additionally, measures are included in the state guarantee program to ensure that children have access to medication. This is particularly important for families with multiple children in Russia.
