The Russian team secured the first-place victory in the CIS Winter Football Cup, as reported by the Russian Consulate General in Harbin. From January 26 to 30, international snow football competitions were held in Harbin, China, among teams representing member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
As a reminder, the organization currently includes 8 member states: India, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.
Two Russian teams from the Primorsky Krai participated in the tournament. One of the teams, named “Ursa,” managed to defeat opponents from China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Azerbaijan, securing the championship cup.
The event was organized by the People’s Government of Harbin with the support of the SCO Friendship and Cooperation Committee and the Sports Administration of Heilongjiang Province.
