Rosatom launches serial production of 3D printers

The new production will cover more than 30% of the needs of the Russian industry. Mass production of nine “medium-sized” 3D printers has begun in Rosatom’s Fuel Division.

The first serial product of Rosatom in the 3D printer market is the RusMelt 310M model, which operates on the selective laser melting technology. The machine allows for the creation of products from metal powder compositions.

The RusMelt 310M model has been enhanced to meet the needs of large Russian industrial enterprises, incorporating new scanning modules, increased printing volume, an updated blowing system, and a modular system for material changes. The improved filtration system extends the printer’s service life, while the replacement of components in control and pneumatic systems contributes to print quality enhancement.
