Over the past year, there has been a significant increase in the interest of Russian citizens in domestic tourism. This statement was made by the Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, Maxim Reshetnikov, during his speech at the event dedicated to the Day of Sports and Tourism at the “Russia” exhibition forum. The tourist flow has grown by 20%.
The Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation regularly develops measures to support the tourism industry, taking into account the growing interest in sports and a healthy lifestyle. Within special economic zones, the country’s largest ski resorts are actively developing, and the preferential lending program provided as part of the national tourism project can now be used for the development of ski resort infrastructure, added Reshetnikov.
