People across the country make eco-friendly new year toys.

Rosprirodnadzor (The Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resources) launched the first all-Russian campaign ‘New Year’s Eco-Toy’ within the framework of the International Children’s and Youth Award ‘Ecology Concerns Us All’. Participants of the campaign created over five thousand environmentally friendly New Year’s toys, using unused items, waste, natural, or recycled materials. They sent their works from all corners of our vast country, including Yakutia and Vladivostok.

These toys will adorn Russia’s most eco-friendly Christmas tree, which will be unveiled at the Moscow Zoo on December 13th. On this day, the campaign participants will have free access to the zoo to see their creations on the tree.
