Waking up in the morning and boosting productivity is not only helped by coffee but also by other foods. Endocrinologist Maria Kaloshina from the Vidnovskaya Clinical Hospital of the Moscow Region Ministry of Health stated in a conversation with Regions publication.

According to her, fruits take the first place among them. Apples can provide you with long-lasting energy, while oranges can lift your mood. Bananas provide potassium necessary for a healthy heart, and avocados are rich in nutrients and omega fatty acids, which enhance productivity.

Kaloshina also recommended eating fatty fish. Omega-3 fatty acids found in it help to fight fatigue and stimulate brain function. However, it is better to choose lean meat, such as chicken or turkey, as it is easier to digest, which allows you to conserve more energy.

The doctor also reminded of the importance of consuming vegetables rich in fiber, vitamins, and minerals, as well as legumes, which are a valuable source of magnesium and potassium. As for baked goods, preference should be given to whole grain products, which can provide the body with energy for a long time.

Dark chocolate can quickly restore strength thanks to the antioxidants contained in cocoa beans. However, this is a high-calorie product, so it should be consumed moderately, emphasized Kaloshina.
