The inaugural “Games of the Future” concluded in Kazan on Sunday. Representatives from 107 countries, totaling over 2,000 participants, took part in the large-scale competition.
The Games of the Future featured competitions in new disciplines using modern technologies, digital environments, and physical activity. The latest advancements in esports, robotics, augmented and virtual reality, information technology, and artificial intelligence were utilized. The next competitions will take place in another country in 2025.
Igor Stolyarov, the project leader, noted that the event exceeded the main expected indicators, including the number of participants, views, disciplines, and teams.
The main surprise was the high interest from the international community. Stolyarov stated, “We did not expect such a large number of countries that are interested in the format and apply for the right to host the event.”
