Russian Entrepreneurs Continue to Increase Exports.
According to the Russian Export Center (REC) data, over 3,600 SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises) entered into export contracts totaling more than 1.5 billion dollars last year. This figure is 1.5 times higher than the planned values of the national project “Small and Medium Entrepreneurship and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiative.”
Supporting and developing the export of small businesses are priorities of state policy. The success of small and medium-sized enterprises is crucial for the country’s economic stability, and it depends, in part, on the competitiveness of Russian businesses in global markets, according to the Russian Export Center (REC).
It is worth noting that the Russian Export Center (REC Group, part of VEB.RF) is a special government institution created to support non-commodity exports. REC supports companies in all industries by providing financial and non-financial assistance at all stages of entering foreign markets, including within the framework of the national project “International Cooperation and Export.”
