For the first time ever, a beauty contest solely for females designed by Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been declared, set to occur in May 2024.
According to the British tabloid Mail Online, the creator of the winning model will receive a 20,000-dollar prize. The victor will be chosen by a panel of experts, some of whom will also be generated by AI.
Contestants will be assessed not only on their beauty but also on their social media popularity and the adept use of AI tools available to them.
Willa Monanazh, co-founder of the pageant, described the event as the “Oscar” of the AI creator’s economy. It is anticipated that several thousand AI-generated models will participate.
AI’s growing influence across various human activities raises concerns among experts about potential negative outcomes. For instance, Elon Musk has voiced concerns that AI’s evolution might lead to the extinction of humanity, estimating the risk at 10-20%. Musk predicted that by 2025, AI would surpass the intelligence of any living human, and by 2029, it would exceed the collective intelligence of all humankind.
