Recent research conducted by the Avito service indicates a rising interest in Soviet-era furniture, interior items, and collectible artifacts in Russia.

Analysts report a 12% increase in sales over the past year. Many Russians are experiencing a sense of nostalgia as they age, rekindling fashion for certain aspects of the Soviet epoch. For instance, sales of film cameras, vinyl records, and dishware have seen a significant resurgence. In April, vinyl record sales surged by 44%, with the average price at 940 rubles.

Additionally, there has been a heightened interest in Soviet furniture, particularly Viennese chairs and wardrobe systems. Sales of cabinets and sideboards rose by 32%, while chair sales increased by 28%.

Tickets and banknotes, retro appliances, and vintage clothing are also garnering attention. Notably, the demand for men’s items has risen more sharply than for women’s, likely driven by the global vintage trend and the popularity of series set in the Soviet Union.
