An addition at the urban zoo.
A Highland breed calf was recently born at the Stavropol Zoo. Rapidly settling into its surroundings, the calf is already exploring its enclosure. According to zoo manager Fedor Trimalyuk, the calf’s mother has been a resident here for over six years, and the genetic adaptability to the region’s climate has been inherited by the little one.
The calf’s name will be chosen by the zoo’s visitors.
