Over 99% of Russians who purchased an electric vehicle reported that their expectations were met. Of these, 69% are completely satisfied with their purchase, while 30% are mostly satisfied. Only about 1% felt that their expectations were not fully realized.
The survey was conducted by the analytical agency “Avtostat.” During the study, an index of expectation fulfillment regarding electric vehicles was calculated, which scored 84 out of a maximum possible 100 points.
The leading brands were Chevrolet and Nissan, both scoring 87.5 points. The top five also included Volkswagen, Tesla, and BYD.
The survey included 900 electric vehicle owners. As of January 1, 2024, the number of electric vehicles in the country totaled approximately 39,000 units.
Previously, it was reported that in the spring of 2024, the Chinese brand Zeekr became the leader in the electric vehicle segment in terms of demand among Russians. The most popular model was the Zeekr 001, with an average price of 7.39 million rubles.
