Soon, the training of high-class specialists in the field of chemistry of promising substances and materials will commence in Ivanovo.

Ivanovo State Chemical-Technological University is introducing the master’s program “Chemistry of Promising Substances and Materials,” which will start this year. Student education will be carried out using modern equipment for physico-chemical research. Mikhail Kiselev, the director of the Institute of Solution Chemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences, emphasized that the university possesses a unique set of instruments, including the country’s only installation for studying supercritical fluids (a state of matter where the distinction between liquid and gas phases disappears).

The master’s program includes the study of solution chemistry in extreme conditions, theoretical chemistry using machine learning methods, as well as the methodology of modern research. The educational program, designed for 10 budget places, aims to train highly qualified researchers in the field of chemistry. Upon completion of the program, graduates will be able to engage in scientific research or work in laboratories of leading industrial and pharmaceutical enterprises.
