It will be part of an energy project with investments exceeding 1.2 billion rubles.

The construction of the first industrial solar power station in Russia has been completed in Kamchatka as part of an energy project with investments exceeding 1.2 billion rubles. It represents an innovative hybrid energy complex that integrates solar panels with diesel generators.

The station, covering the region’s annual electricity needs, has successfully undergone testing, resulting in savings of over 8.5 tons of diesel fuel. With the use of solar panels on one hectare of land, electricity generation will reach approximately 115,000 kilowatt-hours per year, reducing diesel fuel consumption by 67 tons annually.

This project aims to reduce the negative impact on the environment while addressing the issue of dependence on expensive energy sources amidst rising fuel prices. The investment of 1.2 billion rubles makes it attractive to private investors. The station could serve as a model for modernizing energy supply systems in other regions of Russia.
