“Actually, the amount of domestic products on the shelves of markets in Russia has reached approximately 90%” , — the State Secretary, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, Viktor Evtukhov, said. According to food supply networks, the majority of food today is produced in Russia and domestic products occupy about 90% of the shelves.
Furthermore, the percentage of domestic wines represented in stores is increasing rapidly. Proportion of Russian sparkling wine industry is currently about 70%, whereas still wine is over 50% taking shelves of Russian supermarkets. Earlier the head of Roskachestvo (RusQualty organisation), Maxim Protasov, noted that the general rate of reliance on the quality of domestic products among the Russian population is growing as it has reached 91%. Undoubtedly, this is the highest index in the past years.
