A study conducted by analysts from the “Avito Rabota” portal helped understand the changes in the number of vacancies related to manufacturing in Russia. At the beginning of this year, demand for specialists in this field increased by 94% compared to the same period in 2023.
The greatest growth over the year was recorded in the positions of warehouse sorters, with the number of vacancies increasing by 5 times (+403%) compared to the first quarter of 2023. The average salary for new employees in this area increased by almost 35%, reaching 44.5 thousand rubles per month.
The second place was taken by molders, whose demand increased by 4.8 times (+380%), and the average salary increased by 14% to 62.3 thousand rubles per month.
The top three included foundry workers: demand for representatives of this profession increased by 3.8 times (+288%), and the average offered salary increased by 22% (60.7 thousand rubles per month).
The top five also included riggers with a 283% increase in the number of vacancies and a 21% increase in salaries, as well as warehouse workers, who were sought after 195% more often at the beginning of 2024, with their average salary increasing by 18%.
