Many company leaders are not opposed to raising employee salaries. However, they expect employees to undergo retraining and acquire skills that will benefit the company.
A survey conducted by the research center “Zarplata.ru” revealed that 62% of employers are willing to increase salaries. Among them, 63% are ready to raise salaries by 5-20%. Nearly 16% of respondents stated they could raise wages by no more than 5%, while a similar percentage considered increases of 20-40%.
The survey also found that an overwhelming majority of company leaders (95%) place significant importance on employee skill development. Employees either receive training within the company or are sent to relevant courses. Many employers believe that workers should undergo retraining because professions are rapidly evolving in the modern world. However, 24% of survey participants do not see the need to send employees for retraining, believing they already have enough work responsibilities.
Analysts discovered that the most popular programs in professional development courses are information technology, marketing, and project management.
Previously, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko stated that the Bologna education system does not satisfy employers. It does not meet the needs of a rapidly changing economy.
