Visitor to Crocus City Hall evacuated 50 children and his own family from the burning complex
A man who was at “Crocus City Hall” during the terrorist attack evacuated 50 children from the burning building. He shared this with the Mash Telegram channel.
A subscriber to the channel named Oleg said that during the tragedy, he and his family were on the 15th floor of the building at a ballroom dancing competition. When the shooting started and smoke appeared, panic arose among the participants of the event. Oleg managed to calm the panicked crowd and then led a group of 50 children and his family to the exit, bypassing the fire zones and terrorists.
At that moment, the man was holding his 9-month-old child. At some point, he had to hand him over to strangers because Oleg had to break through a metal barrier obstructing the way out.
The man and his family turned out to be among the last visitors of “Crocus” who managed to leave the building through the metro station.
At the moment, the number of fatalities as a result of the terrorist attack in the Moscow Region is 115 people. This was reported by TASS with reference to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
