Miracles do happen in Novosibirsk
Doctors at the National Medical Research Center named after Academician E.N. Meshalkin, under the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation in Novosibirsk, have reported a remarkable success in defeating the most aggressive brain tumor.
A 48-year-old resident of the Kemerovo region was diagnosed with glioblastoma—an extremely malignant brain tumor characterized by rapid growth and deep infiltration into healthy brain tissues. Typically, radical removal of such tumors is nearly impossible. In this case, doctors applied the standard treatment protocol, which involved complete tumor removal along with radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
The patient faced individual complications, including pancytopenia and pneumonia. However, with the assistance of oncologists and transfusion specialists, her condition was successfully stabilized. Currently, the patient’s blood parameters are recovering to normal levels.
