In Moscow, pharmaceutical production has surged by 47.2% during the first 11 months of 2023 compared to January-November 2022, announced Vladimir Efimov, the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property-Land Relations.

Currently, there are 95 enterprises in Moscow specializing in pharmaceutical manufacturing. Additionally, pharmaceutical companies in the capital delivered goods worth over 228 billion rubles from January to November 2023, marking an 8.3% increase compared to the same period in 2022.

Vladislav Ovchinsky, the head of Moscow’s Department of Investment and Industrial Policy, emphasized that the capital produced over 16 million packages of diagnostic reagents, more than 3.7 million ampoules of drugs for the cardiovascular system, and over 24 million packages of drugs for the nervous system.
