Approximately 80% of Russian men have admitted that it is very important to them for their woman to work. At the same time, the size of her income is not of great importance.
These findings come from a survey conducted by the dating service Mamba, the results of which were obtained by “Izvestia.” The majority of survey participants (about 70%) agree that the main financial burden in the family should be borne by the man. This opinion is held by both men and women. However, only 68% of the men who participated in the survey are willing to take on financial responsibility. Another 28% would prefer a 50-50 split.
Every second respondent stated that they are willing to spend between 20,000 and 50,000 rubles per month on their woman, while every third respondent is willing to spend between 50,000 and 100,000 rubles. Meanwhile, women are prepared to spend more modest amounts on their men. Around 80% of them agree to monthly expenses ranging from 5,000 to 20,000 rubles. Only 4% of survey participants are willing to spend more than 50,000 rubles.
Approximately 10% of women stated that they would never ask their man for money, even if there was an urgent need. However, over 30% of men see nothing wrong with asking for financial assistance from their woman.
