Experts from “Yandex.Travel” analyzed hotel booking data for the May holidays. St. Petersburg is highly popular, with accommodation in hotels in the Northern capital costing 6700 rubles per night in May.
The cost of staying in hotels in Moscow is significantly higher – 16300 rubles. Sochi, Kazan, and Kaliningrad are also popular among Russians. The cost of accommodation in hotels in these cities is approximately the same – 8600 rubles per day.
The most budget-friendly option turned out to be a trip to Volgograd. A night in hotels in this city will cost 5900 rubles.
Some Russians prefer to vacation in other countries. It became known that the authorities of this city no longer want to host tourists with limited financial means. They noted that some guests at the resort hardly leave the hotel room to save money. The average tourist vacationing in Antalya spends 99 dollars per day. Meanwhile, for example, in Spain, daily expenses amount to 200 dollars.
