In 2026, a new environmentally friendly production facility for paper tableware will emerge in the Moscow region. The company “RITM” has acquired a land plot as part of the regional program “Land for 1 Ruble” and intends to implement a project for the production of disposable paper tableware in Dolgoprudny.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Science of the Moscow Region, the company plans to invest around 100 million rubles in the construction and launch of production. This initiative is expected to create approximately 20 new jobs for local residents. The production is scheduled to commence in 2026.

The consumption of disposable paper tableware in Russia is currently on the rise due to the increased demand for food delivery services and restrictions on the use of plastic. In most cases, plastic disposable tableware is imported to Russia from other countries.

In contrast, the products of the “RITM” company will be domestically produced, made of paper, and environmentally friendly, contributing to biodegradability.
