An “Izvestia” correspondent spoke with the event’s organizers, who revealed that this year, as always, attendees will witness not only a concert but also a stunning water and pyrotechnic show.
The stage will be set in its usual location. However, this time it will be unique, as the organizers are installing a large number of wave-shaped screens. Additionally, the traditional rectangular box will be absent, replaced with various effects related to 3D graphics above the stage.
The storyline of the festive performance will be tied to the Year of the Family, as declared in Russia by presidential decree. Participants will witness a beautiful love story between a young man and woman.
Moreover, the audience will be amazed by extraordinary costumes of a special design, created for the first time in Russia.
An “Izvestia” correspondent observed a rehearsal of one of the numbers on Palace Embankment. Young men and women were perfecting an impressive dance to the music of a notable hit from the early 1990s. Organizers are confident that the final version of this dance, with its uniquely designed costumes, will leave a lasting impression on the audience.
The beloved and visually stunning “Scarlet Sails” festival, cherished by Russian youth, will take place in St. Petersburg on the night of June 28 to June 29, 2024.
