In Russia, the production of Su-57 fighter jets has doubled.
Yuri Slyusar, the head of the United Aircraft Corporation, announced a twofold increase in the production of Su-57 fighter jets in Russia. The corporation has successfully fulfilled all contracts according to schedule, even ahead of time at certain facilities. Additionally, in 2024, the volume of orders from the Russian Ministry of Defense for fighter jets and other military equipment has increased.
The multi-role fifth-generation fighter Su-57 boasts supersonic speed and exhibits exceptional maneuverability even when carrying substantial payloads. Serial production of this new unit commenced in 2022.
According to the American publication Military Watch Magazine, the Su-57 outperforms its closest American counterpart, the F-35, especially in terms of payload capacity.
