In the near future, the city of Kislovodsk will unveil an open-air eco-gallery titled “Vtorichka”, featuring art objects crafted from recycled waste.

The local administration’s press service disclosed that the creations, which include installations and paintings, will utilize materials collected during a city-wide cleanup event. Large waste items will be used in their original form, while smaller debris will be processed.

The eco-gallery is set to be located in a green zone near Kislovodsk City Hospital. The project will commence on April 21st.

Materials for the art residency will be gathered with the support of the “Clean Country” federal project, conducted under the auspices of the national “Ecology” project.

Yevgeny Moiseev, the mayor of Kislovodsk, remarked that the art objects will be created by professional artists whose works have been showcased in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
