Robots will assist in joint endoprosthetics.
City Clinical Hospital No. 13 in Moscow will start using a robotic surgical system for joint endoprosthetics surgeries. This technology will enable more precise implant placement, reduce the risk of complications, and ensure long-term and comfortable use of endoprostheses for patients.
The main purpose of the device is total knee joint endoprosthetics. The system with artificial intelligence creates a surgical plan based on a three-dimensional model of the joint, created using computer tomography.
Currently, minimally invasive surgical interventions using robotic systems are actively developing in Moscow. This has become possible due to the modernization of equipment and the increased qualifications of medical specialists.
