At the “Schwabe” holding company’s enterprise (part of the Rostec state corporation structure) in Kazan, a new method for rapid decryption of images from space, taken by an aviation remote sensing Earth observation system in the infrared range, has been developed.
The new technology will allow for obtaining images in real-time mode during the shooting process. This will ensure the rapid transmission of data about missing persons, peat fires, sea disasters, and other emergencies. Additionally, it will enable monitoring of forest resources, detection of illegal logging, and monitoring the condition of pipelines.
The automatic decryption module for graphic information, developed in two variants, was created by the winner of the third set of the “Vector” program of the Rostec Academy, Alexander Mingalev, together with his colleagues.
After modernization, all components of the system should be integrated into one housing. Changes in the apparatus design will reduce weight and the number of connections, as well as increase the convenience of installation and operation.
