During a meeting with President Vladimir Putin, Gazprom’s CEO, Alexey Miller, announced plans for complete gasification of Russia by 2030. Miller assured that the company would fulfill the task of achieving nationwide gasification, leveraging all technically viable means.
According to Miller, by 2024, the gasification level is projected to reach 89% of its maximum potential. In 2023 alone, over 400 settlements were connected, and a network of gas pipelines spanning 2,900 kilometers was constructed.
Furthermore, Miller stated that Gazprom would allocate a record-breaking amount of 270.3 billion rubles towards gasification and degasification programs across the country in 2024.
