In the near future, Russia will introduce a registry of large families, announced Anton Kotyakov, the Minister of Labour and Social Protection.

According to him, starting from July 1, the country will implement a registry of large families, which will streamline interactions with all agencies and structures providing services to the population.

The Ministry has also prepared official explanations regarding the presidential decree “On Measures of Social Support for Large Families.” Thus, certain social support measures will apply to large families, including early retirement, a 30% discount on utility bills, and others.

The corresponding decree was signed by the President of the country, Vladimir Putin, at the end of January 2024. It enshrines the status of large families and the support measures provided by the government.

In our country, a large family is defined as a family with three or more children. Its status is established indefinitely.
