Starting May 13, subsidized air tickets for students from universities in the Kaliningrad region are now on sale, making travel more affordable for them. The program covers flights between Kaliningrad and both Moscow and St. Petersburg, according to Aeroflot’s press service.
For example, a standard ticket from Kaliningrad to Moscow costs 7,294 rubles one way, while a subsidized ticket is priced at 3,800 rubles. Similarly, a flight to St. Petersburg usually costs 10,174 rubles, but the subsidized ticket is only 3,500 rubles.
Tickets for the nearest dates are already sold out, but flights for early June are still available. By planning their trips in advance, students from the Kaliningrad region can significantly save on travel expenses to Moscow and St. Petersburg.
Subsidized tickets are available only for full-time students. Tickets can be purchased on the airline’s website under the “subsidized transportation” section. Students need to select the appropriate program, specify the route, travel date, and number of passengers. To confirm eligibility, students must provide identification and proof of student status. Each eligible passenger can purchase up to two round-trip tickets or up to four one-way tickets under the program.
