Russian candies have become the most popular product at the “Made in Russia” fair.

Visitors to the fair are daily purchasing sweets from the “United Confectioners” holding for over half a million rubles. The factories “ROT FRONT,” “Red October,” and the “Babaevsky Confectionery Concern” have long been known to Chinese buyers.

It’s worth noting that the “United Confectioners” holding is one of the leaders in the confectionery industry in Russia. China has become one of the most important export destinations for the holding in 2023. The “Alyonka” chocolate has become Russia’s trademark in China.

The “Made in Russia” festival-fair is organized by the Russian Export Center (part of VEB.RF) and takes place in the cities of Shenyang and Dalian in Liaoning Province from January 27 to February 5. About 150 Russian manufacturers from 41 regions presented their products at the fair, totaling around 1.5 thousand items for retail and online sales.

The festival-fair is accompanied by a diverse cultural program, including performances by Russian folk ensembles, master classes on traditional crafts, and culinary shows.
