Every fourth Russian makes a choice in favor of domestic wine, according to data from Roskachestvo reported by RIA Novosti. Furthermore, the reputation of Russian wine producers continues to improve.
Over the past 6 months, the share of citizens who consider Russian wine to be of higher quality than foreign wine has increased by 4%, from 22% to 26%. The number of those who claim that if not all, then most domestic wines surpass foreign ones in quality has grown from 29% to 33%.
Since June 2023, the percentage of people who positively evaluate the quality of Russian wine has increased from 51% to 59%. There is also a decrease in the share of admirers of foreign wine, from 17% in June 2023 to 14% in December. The number of skeptics who believe that most Russian wines are inferior in quality to foreign ones has also decreased, from 32% to 27%.
