Many Russians spend a significant amount of time at work, so it is extremely important to be able to regulate workload and adhere to a pace that allows for maintaining productivity and reducing the risk of emotional burnout. The so-called “Pomodoro Technique” can help cope with exhaustion, stated expert Olga Bondarovich.

According to her, this practice is actively used in time management. In the classical version of the “Pomodoro Technique,” half an hour is divided into two stages: 25 minutes are spent on work, and 5 minutes are dedicated to rest. After four stages, a break of 15 minutes is taken.

By alternating work and rest, you can regulate the level of workload throughout the day, noted Bondarovich in a conversation with RIAMO.

She also urged Russians to take on at work only the amount of tasks that they can definitely handle. Additionally, it is necessary to regulate workload and adhere to a pace that allows for maintaining productivity.

There is no universal method that will help cope with burnout or prevent it. It is important to identify personal reasons that may trigger such a condition, concluded the expert.
