Since May 1, 2024, Russia has begun labeling red and black caviar. As of April 25, over 19,000 participants in the supply chain have registered in the labeling system, including 83 producers and importers. More than 264,000 labeling codes have been issued across the country.

Rewaz Yusupov, Deputy General Director of the labeling system operator “Honest Sign” — the Center for the Development of Advanced Technologies (CRPT) — stated that even before the mandatory labeling was introduced, over 4,500 units of caviar products had entered circulation and are already available on the shelves of Russian stores.
