Russian tourists are increasingly traveling to cities in Asia compared to 2023, according to a study conducted by the OneTwoTrip service.
Analysts examined data on flights during the May holidays and hotel accommodation prices. The greatest growth, they say, was recorded in Shanghai — Russian travelers started visiting this Chinese city 22 times more often. As for hotel prices, they start from 3,000 rubles per day.
In Denpasar (Bali), the number of compatriots traveling there will increase by 12 times compared to last year. A night in a three-star hotel will cost at least 2,000 rubles.
Closing the top three leaders is Beijing. Nine times more tourists from Russia will travel to the capital of China during the May holidays. The cost of a room starts from 4,700 rubles per day.
In the top five are Hanoi (Vietnam), where Russians plan to travel seven times more than last year, as well as Jakarta (Indonesia) and Doha (Qatar) — demand for trips to these cities has increased fivefold.
