In January 2024, experts from the Center for Monitoring and Managing the Public Communication Network of Roskomnadzor (CMU of the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology, and Mass Media) blocked 575 phishing resources and 36 sites containing malicious software (malware).
These results were shared in the official Telegram channel of the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology, and Mass Media.
According to the Roskomnadzor statement, the CMU specialists also identified and eliminated 824 violations of traffic routing in January. They provided communication operators with 66 security bulletins containing recommendations for addressing identified vulnerabilities in software. In addition, they successfully mitigated 4 DDoS attacks on the protected systems.
