In Kaliningrad, a competition for scientific developments addressing regional needs has been announced.
Registration is now open for the annual “Eureka” competition in Kaliningrad, where everyone has the opportunity to present their scientific developments applicable to the region’s needs. Applications will be accepted until March 1, and the competition winner is guaranteed a reward of 500,000 rubles.
The “Eureka” award is given for scientific developments that have a significant impact on various sectors of the region’s economy, such as science, education, and industry.
In 2023, “Eureka” received submissions not only from universities but also from enterprises such as “Ecopet” and OKB “Fakel,” presenting projects like a propulsion system for nano-satellites and innovative thermoplastics. The project “Comprehensive Processing of Protective Tissues of Hydrobionts” by scientists from Kaliningrad State Technical University was also honored.
The “Eureka” award has become a significant event within the framework of the Decade of Science and Technology. It also contributes to the implementation of the national project “Small and Medium-Sized Entrepreneurship” initiated by the President of the Russian Federation.
