The largest hockey stadium in the world has begun operations in St. Petersburg

St. Petersburg has unveiled the world’s largest hockey stadium – the ‘SKA-Arena’. It can accommodate up to 21,500 spectators, surpassing even the ‘Bell Centre in Montreal’, which can hold no more than 21,000. The construction cost of the venue amounted to 60 billion rubles.

The stadium is equipped with all the necessary facilities and amenities for the comfort of spectators. There are ample toilets and food purchase areas on its premises. Notably, the stadium’s design ensures excellent visibility – spectators can comfortably watch the game from any tier.

The first major event held at the arena on December 9 was the 15th All-Star Game of the Kontinental Hockey League.
