Russia Creates “Anti-Spy” Smartphone
A domestic smartphone called “R-FON” is equipped with the Russian operating system “ROSA Mobile.” The IT Research Center “ROSA,” the project’s developer, is already accepting orders from corporate clients and plans to release it on the retail market.
The device offers 10 gigabytes of cloud storage and 128 gigabytes of built-in memory. The smartphone’s camera has a resolution of 50 megapixels, and the selfie camera is 16 megapixels. The smartphone also features the “ROSA ID” service, the “ROSA Market” app store, and the “ROSA Disk” cloud service. The device weighs 189 grams, with a thickness of 7.96 millimeters.
The smartphone will be available for order in 2024. It is expected to be priced at up to 40,000 rubles, but the final cost is currently unknown.
