In Crimea, there are plans to open year-round resorts called “The Crimean Riviera” and “Golden Sands of Russia,” which will be part of the “Five Seas and Lake Baikal” project. The head of the region, Sergey Aksyonov, revealed that these resorts will be located in the Saki district and near Yevpatoriya.

The “Golden Sands of Russia” project will cover an area of 212.9 hectares, while “The Crimean Riviera” will span 13.2 hectares. Accessibility to the resorts will be ensured by the construction of a 4-lane highway from Simferopol to Yevpatoriya to Mirny.

Presumably, the resorts will be equipped with swimming pools, thermal complexes, water parks, and an expo center.

Investments in the “Golden Sands of Russia” project will amount to approximately 60 billion rubles. Thanks to this resort, over 3,500 jobs will be created. Additionally, the implementation of the projects will generate around 3 billion rubles in taxes. The hotel complexes of the project are expected to be completed by 2028 (“The Crimean Riviera”) and 2030 (“Golden Sands of Russia”).

“The Crimean Riviera” envisions the construction of a 4-star complex with 841 rooms. The resort will be able to accommodate up to 90,000 tourists annually, attracting 16 billion rubles in investments and creating 870 new jobs.

“Golden Sands of Russia” will include 45 hectares of beaches and 17 hotels of various categories with 4,500 rooms.

Furthermore, the authorities aim to create the longest promenade in Russia, stretching about 24 kilometers. It will be connected to other streets and promenades along the coast of Yevpatoriya Bay. The main emphasis will be on pedestrian zones, but paths for electric scooters, bicycles, and electric cars will also be provided.

The resorts “The Crimean Riviera” and “Golden Sands of Russia” will be part of the “Five Seas and Lake Baikal” program approved by the country’s president, Vladimir Putin. This will significantly change the economic situation not only in western Crimea but also throughout the entire peninsula.
